Watauga County Magistrate's Office

The Watauga County Magistrate's Office is located in downtown Boone at 133 N Water Street, #26, Boone, NC.  The office is better known as the "Old Library" where the Rock faced building is, next to the courthouse.   You can reach a Magistrate at 828-265-5367, 24 hours a day. 

You would need to visit the magistrate for issues dealing with Small Claims Court, pressing charges against somebody when you have been victimized, seeking an involuntary commitment order, or to acquire a Domestic Violence Protection Order.
